More Than Caregivers — Neighbors
The story, the mission, and the people behind Seniors Helping Seniors® East Bay
About Seniors Helping Seniors East Bay
Seniors Helping Seniors® East Bay was built on a simple idea: the best person to care for a senior is very often another senior. Our caregivers are active, compassionate mature adults who understand firsthand what our clients are going through — so every visit feels less like a service and more like getting a little help from a friend.
We don't have "clients" — we care for Receivers, because the people we serve are never transactions. They are individuals with a lifetime of stories, wisdom, and dignity worth honoring. From Walnut Creek to Berkeley, our peer-to-peer model gives families in-home support that feels familiar, respectful, and consistent.
Today that same standard guides every caregiver we send into a home across Walnut Creek, Lafayette, Moraga, Orinda, Concord, Pleasant Hill, Martinez, Oakland and Berkeley. We hire for heart first, we match you once, and we show up on time — every time.

Meet the People Behind Seniors Helping Seniors® East Bay
Brianna and Matt started Seniors Helping Seniors East Bay in 2024 with a heartfelt mission—to give back and build a stronger, more connected community.
Brianna has more than 25 years of experience supporting children, adults, and families in the disability community. She holds a Master of Public Health and a Master's in Special Education and has always been passionate about creating meaningful, compassionate support for others.
Matt brings more than 30 years of experience in the sports and soccer industry, along with a Master's in Nonprofit Management. His career has been focused on building community, developing people, and creating opportunities for others to thrive.
Together, Brianna and Matt share a deep belief in the importance of connection, compassion, and community. They created Seniors Helping Seniors East Bay to bring those values to home care and help older adults feel supported, respected, and connected.
When they're not helping others, you'll find them exploring the world with their two young sons and creating memories one adventure at a time.
