NOW HIRING — EAST BAY
Start Your Application
Three steps, and the first one takes two minutes.

Step 1 Tell us about yourself.
Fill out the short form — name, contact, where you live, and a little about your caregiving experience.

Step 2 We'll call you. A real conversation about your schedule, the cities you'd like to work in, and what you're comfortable doing.

Step 3 Clearance, training and your first match. We guide you through Home Care Aide registration and background clearance, provide training, and introduce you to a client nearby.
Not sure it's for you?
You're not alone — some of our caregivers weren't sure either. They'd looked after someone they loved and wondered whether that counted as experience. It does.

What the Work Actually Looks Like
Most visits are a few hours. Here's what they usually involve.

Company & Conversation
Sitting down together, a walk, a card game, a drive to see something. For a lot of clients this is the part that matters most.

Errands & Getting Around
Groceries, prescriptions, a ride to a doctor's appointment, a stop at the pharmacy or the post office.

Help Around the House
Light tidying, laundry, a home-cooked meal, and a hand with the everyday things that have gotten harder.
This is non-medical in-home care. Many clients also need hands-on personal care — bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility and transfers — and we're looking for caregivers who are comfortable with that or willing to learn.
Questions From People Considering This
Answers for interested caregivers in East Bay
No. If you've looked after a spouse, a parent, or a friend, you already have the part that can't be taught. We provide paid training for everything else.
As many or as few as you want. Some of our caregivers work six hours a week, others closer to thirty. You tell us your availability and we build around it.
For most positions, yes — errands and appointments are a real part of the work. Tell us on the application if that's a problem and we'll see what we can match you with.
Almost certainly not. Our caregivers are seniors themselves. That peer match is the whole idea, and it's what our clients ask for.
We'll go over your exact rate on the phone, since it depends on the type of care and the hours. To give you a real number: most of our companion caregivers start at $16.50–$17.50 an hour, and caregivers with personal care experience start at $17.00–$18.50. We won't waste your time — if it isn't a fit, we'll tell you.
Faster than most people expect. We run a background check, you attend an orientation class, and onboarding is typically completed in 3 to 5 days. From there we match you with your first client.
